Plan batches around Nagpur's summer
Nagpur summers are long and hot. The India Meteorological Department's climate table for the city puts the hottest months from March to June, with May the peak, when the average daily maximum is around 42 degrees. In those months a 4 pm or 5 pm class is a hard sell, and the first and last hour of the day fill up.
This is our reasoning, not a measured figure for any gym, but it is easy to check: look at your own attendance for April to June against January. If the evening batch thins and the early one is full, move capacity to match. Jimwala batches have capacity limits, so you can cap a crowded 6 am batch and open a second one rather than turn people away.
Send reminders in the language members read
Marathi is the official language of Nagpur and Maharashtra, and Hindi is also widely understood in the city. Many gyms find the right mix by testing: send the same expiry reminder in Marathi to one batch and in Hindi to another, and see which gets more renewals. Most Nagpur members already pay by UPI. With a payment link carrying the exact amount, the member pays your own UPI ID, taps "I have paid" and you confirm it once. The money goes directly to your bank account and never passes through Jimwala. For members who say they have paid, the UTR reference number settles the argument.
Be found in your own locality
People search for a gym by the area they live in. Nagpur has well-known residential and commercial areas such as Dharampeth, Manish Nagar, Sadar, Civil Lines and the stretch along Wardha Road. Put your exact locality and a landmark in your Google Business Profile name, address and description, and add real photos.
