A gym member app with self check-in, without a Play Store download
Members sign in with their mobile number and a WhatsApp code, then see their plan, pay dues, show a digital membership card and check themselves in by scanning a poster at your entrance. No app store, no password, and it works in Hindi too.
What you can do
Sign in with a WhatsApp code
Members type the mobile number they gave you and get a 6-digit code on WhatsApp. No password to forget, and nothing for your front desk to set up.
Self check-in from a QR poster
Print the check-in poster from Jimwala and put it at the entrance. A member scans it with their phone camera and is checked in with the same rules as your desk: expired or left members are turned away.
Digital membership card
Each member page carries their check-in QR code, member number and validity, so a forgotten card is never a problem. Send it on WhatsApp with one tap.
Plan, dues and payments in one place
Members see how many days are left, what they owe, every payment with its receipt, and pay dues on UPI straight to your bank account.
Book a class
Members book a place in a batch up to a week ahead, and see how many places are left. You see who booked and who has arrived.
English and हिन्दी
Members switch the pages between English and Hindi with one tap, and a phone set to Hindi opens in Hindi.
How it works

Print the check-in poster
Open Check-in, then Self check-in, and download or print the poster.

Members sign in once
They scan the poster or open jimwala.com/member and sign in with a WhatsApp code.

They check in by scanning
From then on, scanning the poster checks them in. Their visits show as "Self" on your list.
Questions about member app and self check-in
Do members need to install an app?
No. The member app opens in the phone browser and can be added to the home screen. There is nothing to download from the Play Store or App Store.
What stops someone checking in from home?
The poster works only for the member whose page is saved on that phone, and only while their plan is running. If a photo of the poster is being shared, make a new poster in one tap and the old one stops working.
Can a member with no smartphone still check in?
Yes. The front desk can scan their printed card or search their name, as before.
Is the member app available in Hindi?
Yes. The member page, sign-in, class booking, self check-in and payment page can be switched between English and Hindi.
